Voluntary Contribution

By agreeing to sign up on the Cashaam, you are volunteering to support the project with your time and creative output i.e. artworks, voice, images and other materials that we may request from you to make the beta phase of the program successfully. The pilot run is to demonstrate the viability of the technology in the eCommerce industry and there is no guarantee of compensation either now or in the future. Your contribution is “at-will” and voluntary, hence you have the right to leave the project at any time. If you decide to exit the program, you must send an email informing us of your decision. Also, we reserve the right to terminate your involvement with the program.

Shipping Policy

Shipping and Delivery Sellers are responsible for shipping their sold items to buyers. If you're using a shipping or fulfillment service, please keep in mind that you are ultimately responsible for making sure that your buyers receive their orders. By selling on Cashaam, you agree to: A. Provide an accurate "ships from" address. B. Specify your shipping costs and processing times in your listings. C. Ship items promptly after they are sold. Prompt shipping means that you ship each item within 14 days of purchase unless you specify otherwise in your processing time or agree to a different shipping period with the buyer through Messages. Before you update your processing time for a specific order, you must first obtain your buyer’s consent. D. Comply with all local and international shipping and customs regulations. We know that shipping and customs regulations can be tough to read, so check out these Help articles on international shipping using United States Postal Service (USPS) E. Ship to the address listed on the Cashaam receipt. F. Mark the order as shipped when you ship it or use Cashaam Shipping Label, which automatically marks your order as shipped. Remember that you may only mark an order as shipped after you actually have shipped it. When you mark an order as shipped, the buyer will receive a notification. G. Charge an appropriate amount for shipping in the US using calculated shipping to have shipping costs calculated automatically. By entering tracking information or delivery confirmation on Cashaam, you're giving us permission to collect and share this data received from your chosen shipping carrier with the buyer. In the unlikely event, an order does not arrive, be prepared to provide valid proof of shipping. Valid proof of shipping must show that the item actually was shipped and that it was sent to the address provided on Cashaam. If a buyer does not receive their order, they may file a case against your shop. Please see this Help article to learn more. Cashaam Shipping Labels Sellers in the United States who accept Cashaam Payments or PayPal as a payment method are able to use Cashaam Shipping Labels. By using Cashaam Shipping Labels, you agree that: A. All shipping labels will only be used to ship corresponding Cashaam orders. B. Shipping labels may not be transferred or sold to a third party. C. You are fully responsible for the contents of any parcels you ship using Cashaam Shipping Labels. In addition to Cashaam's policies, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions and any other policies or rules imposed by the carrier you use to ship your items. D. Cashaam is not responsible for any issues you may encounter while items you ship using Cashaam Shipping Labels are in transit. That means that if an item is lost, damaged, or arrives later than expected, you will have no recourse against Cashaam. Please review the carrier’s terms and conditions for more information on how they handle parcels that are lost, damaged, or delayed. E. Cashaam reserves the right to remove your access to Cashaam Shipping Labels at any time and for any reason. USPS Labels US sellers can purchase USPS postage on Cashaam to fulfill their orders. By using USPS postage, you agree to comply with the USPS rules and USPS Privacy Statement. Sellers may request a refund for USPS postage within 10 days of creating a label, as long as the label has not been used to ship a package. USPS reviews refund requests, and Cashaam will notify sellers once a request is approved or denied. For more information on how to cancel and request a refund for a USPS shipping label, please take a look at this Help article. FedEx Labels US sellers can purchase FedEx shipping labels on Cashaam to fulfill their orders. By using FedEx shipping labels, you agree to comply with the FedEx Service Guide. Sellers may request a refund for FedEx shipping labels within 10 days of creating a label, as long as the label has not been used to ship a package. Cashaam processes refund requests, and we will notify sellers after their request has been approved or denied. For more information on how to cancel and request a refund for a FedEx shipping label, please check out this Help article. Returns U.S. Sellers who accept returns from buyers and ship packages using USPS can purchase a USPS shipping return label on Cashaam. Shipping return labels are available for packages purchased by U.S. buyers who made the purchase as a registered Cashaam user. USPS shipping return labels are available for packages shipped from and to addresses in the 50 U.S. states only (currently labels are not available for APO/DPO/FPO military addresses or U.S. territories). Shipping Insurance When you use Cashaam Shipping Labels, you can purchase parcel insurance to protect your shipments. Insurance is available through USPS and FedEx shipping labels. Please see the Fees and Payments Policy for additional information. Buyers should contact the sellers or view their dashboard to check the status of the delivery of their items. Cashaam offers no guarantees on the delivery dates. The shipping cost is calculated based on the rates provided by the shipping service provider you selected on checkout and cannot be changed after checkout. Estimated delivery times and Actual delivery times may vary. Please contact the seller about your delivery before reaching out to Cashaam.

Non-Paid Work and Contribution Policy.

As stated earlier, the project should be considered as non-paid work, expenses incurred by contributors should be deemed so. In the event of any liability during your involvement in the project, we are not responsible for such. We provide no guarantee of future compensation.

Privacy and Marketing Policy.

Your involvement with this project gives us the right to use materials generated from it for press and marketing purposes. In the event, you discontinued your involvement with the project, we will make the best effort not to continue you and your art profile in future engagement. However, published materials will not be retracted and no guarantee completed works will not be shared on social media.

Ownership of Program Materials

We or other material contributors to the Cashaam program solely own all the intellectual property or have obtained the necessary rights relating to the materials used for it. Title to and the right to determine the disposition of any copyrightable materials first produced under the terms of Agreement solely by faculty or staff of the cashaam project shall remain with Cashaam and will be governed by the Cashaam intellectual property policies. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use cashaam content in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from any cashaam content except for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of cashaam project content requires the prior written permission of the Cashaam Technology Licensing Office.

Cashaam DISCLAIMS ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, RELATING TO THE Cashaam project, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NONINFRINGEMENT, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND THE ABSENCE OF LATENT OR OTHER DEFECTS, WHETHER OR NOT DISCOVERABLE.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Texas and the federal laws of the United States of America, without regard to any applicable conflict of laws principles.
